FIFA World Cup Travels

Born in Argentina to an Italian dad and Argentinian mom, soccer has always been in my blood. But my wanderlust kicked in after I graduated from Ohio State, when I backpacked through Europe with no real plans - returning five months later bitten by the travel bug.

Overall, I have traveled to 57 countries (FIFA nations?), attending or working soccer games in 34. And every four years, these two passions intersect.

Since 1994, I have been to 16 World Cups: including as a fan at eight straight FIFA World Cups, totaling 64 combined games (linked below). In addition, I have worked eight other World Cups with four U.S. Soccer Federation teams.
