Record Crowd for Soccer at Ohio Stadium

As a student at Ohio State I worked my first soccer game in 1996 at Ohio Stadium, sparking a career in the sport that has taken me all over the world. On July 27, 2016 I finally had the opportunity to return to The Shoe to work alongside former colleagues and a dedicated Ohio State Athletic Department determined to put on a fantastic event. And what a night it was, as the exhibition game between Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain drew an Ohio-record soccer crowd of 86,641.
